The effort, by the 44th Bomb Group Veterans
Association, to preserve the History and Legacy of it's members, has
received accolades from all groups, individuals, and institutions that have
viewed the program. The 44th Bomb Group has made an outstanding contribution to the
Military History of our country that must not be forgotten. It is to be hoped that other Groups will follow
the lead set by the 44th and preserve their history in a like manner. I am extremely proud to have been a part of this
